OUR STORY

Park Bench Dance Theatre is a small-scale contemporary dance company based in Sussex which creates accessible dance for different locations.

Rosanna Tat and Cornelia Turner-Klier formed PBDT in 2010. First performing a structured improvisation on a park bench at White Night Festival, the company's name was decided!

Park Bench Dance Theatre is now lead by Rosanna. The copany combine intricate pedestrian gestures along with high energy contact work to create thought-provoking and accessible dance. The company is interested in exploring ideas about social landscapes, characterisation and relationships in interesting and varied spaces.
